Fort Bridgewoods

SouthEast Defence Photos

This website depicts photographs of a vast range of different types of military architecture which existed and still exists in Southern England.

I have amassed many photographs since I became interested in military architecture back in the late 1970's and decided to share my findings with other like-minded individuals.

Within the photo gallery you will find examples of many major and not so well known military sites from the Napoleonic period through to the Cold War.

The sites are listed with location references and a brief description of each photograph.

Please note a majority of these sites are on private land and therefore permission is required before entering. In addition all the photographs are copyright of the author and may not be reproduced without my written permission.
